Biscuit cutter, those are fun. Also, good system for keeping things together, I used something similar for a shelf I made

I know this may be kinda late for a comment since you're past the planning stage.....
0.17m (6.6in = US) for you components. I hope you have a chair without armrests or plan on sitting really low and reaching far. Just my 2cents.gif
Otherwise it looks awesome thumb.gif

The keyboard tray will be located under the main part, and will be on some sliding racks smile.gif

not trying to talk you out of your design..... but how about moving your watercooling parts to one side and your motherboard to the other? that would allow you to make the part where your legs go thinner and you wouldn't need a keyboard tray. Plus, you get the added benefit of isolating your rads for better airflow and temps.

I like the design the way it is at the moment, not the way that L3P does his desks and has nothing in the middle. That said, L3P has epic desks!!
The rads are all ready isolated in their own box and will have a good amount of airflow smile.gif

But Thanks!

just started reading this, and I think your final design is smart. I like it.

FYI, the L3P desk is still not for sale. Guy made that post in June. It is October. I googled after reading this.

So a brief update smile.gif

Been busy on the farm lately so haven't had much time to work on the desk! But am working as fast as I can smile.gif

20121006101641.jpg

Here are the draw fronts cut a little oversize just to be safe, not sanded or thicknessed or anything yet
20121006113544.jpg

20121006113553.jpg

My small wee thicknesser working its magic on the draw fronts, boy does this puppy make a mess!!
20121011174405.jpg

20121011175903.jpg

20121011190255.jpg

currently have two racks installed at the moment, start from the bottom and work your way up. Doing one at a time to make sure everything fits perfectly on the first time!
20121011192043.jpg

20121011192056.jpg

20121011192107.jpg

These are the draw sides, just some MDF which I will be painting matte black. Think it is somewhere around 12-13mm thick.
20121014165258.jpg

The box of which the draws will be just sitting there for a test fit, have to make sure that it sits on the sliders properly biggrin.gif

20121014170349.jpg

And here are the sides and front/back for the two bottom draws going to school to get everything cut to length properly and use that lovely big planner biggrin.gif (note to self, buy one of those big planners as they make life so much easier)

Cool work! after look @ all posts my only critique is that the inside area housing the mobo and stuff just looks so naked! Fill 'er up!
