its Greece here...dont expect anything cheap... ^^
but there are too few 2x8 gb ram on market here and they are pretty crap too..so if im going with 4x4 i should go for smthin good..
cheaper 4x4gb are with CL10 or v1.65.. so these corsair seems pretty "overpowered" imo..

What CPU do you have? What do you use your computer for? Do you actually need 16 GB of RAM?

Typically, faster ram shows very little improvement over slower RAM in most applications. For gaming, the difference might be 1-2% between 1333 MHz and 1866 MHz, and timings don't help much either. Unless you're going for hard benchmarks, I would just get the cheapest 2x4GB kit, unless you really really need 16 GB (RAMdisk, heavy editing multitasking). If you have16 GB, but never use more than 7-8, you're just wasting money, and those prices are pretty rough.

Actually i dont have anything yet.. im building my rig this summer and i am "digging" into the parts now.. biggrin.gif
i will use a 2500k and a gtx 670.. i wanted to go with 2x4gb Gskill, but i read today that the high-end GPUs consume a big part of my Ram..so 8gb might reach the limit.. thats why just in case i wanted to check some 16gb.. not sure if i understood right this part though.. rolleyes.gif
the pc goes for gaming btw..

What?? High end gpus have 2 or 3gbs or ram on the card! Unless your packing like six monitors, your cards wont use anything. Just get the cheapest 8gb kit you can find.
