Hello all. First let me say that i am aware that i need to have the old 3.21 Firmware to install one of these packages. Well after a long search i have found the proper files and have reverted my PS3 back to 3.21. I have what use to be one of the 40GB Fat model. I have since upgraded the hdd to 500GB and i am looking to setup a Linux software package to have this connect with my Server to access my media. I am in no way asking for the old 3.21 firmware that has been scrubbed from the web. i'm just looking for media center software.
the last YDL version i tried bricked my PS3 and it took me a while to unbrick considering it wants a firmware package to fix the problem and the only easy ones to find were the post 3.21 packages.
currently my PS3 connects over 2.4GHz G but am looking into a way to operate on 5.0GHz N for better speeds.
The links i have found so far have are all broken.
