whitch is better for gaming? and + i have 500W OCZ power supply whitch of those i can run on my 500W
post #2 of 14
The 5970 is the clear winner here. It will run circles around that 6870.

a 5970 willl be the best card if your power supply can handle it im not sure. I have a 5970 and 5870 in crossfire and i can max even new games out still at 1080p.
The 5870 is faster than a 6870 which is on par with a 5850 and will work best with your 500 watt. I would upgrade your monitor as well to a larger resolution. A 5970 would be pointless unless you are running a multi monitor setup with high resolutions.

i buy 23 LG led monitor later! then 5970 is pointless or still 5870 is better?
For a single 1080P monitor a 5870 will be plenty, no need for the 5970.
