Is this product a plug and play product for PC?

I had heard that the wireless 360 controller needed a dongle or something like that to make it work with PC. But i cant be sure.

yeah you need a wireless receiver. I bought one like 4 or 5 years ago for like 70$ and it still works fine. Good to see they are a lot cheaper now!

Hmm if i go this route than the wireless controler + reciever costs over 70$

Wired 360 controller is 35$

Wireless Logitech F710 is 42$

I wonder what to do.

I will only use the controller for Tomb Raider kinds of games Fifa12 and racers. I mainly play FPS games and will use mouse and keyboard for those.

I'm guessing the first has the plug for xbox and the second had a usb plug. Not sure as I've never done xbox and don't know if they're usb plugs. If you want wireless why not go with this? Looks like the wireless dongle is included.

There are so many 360 controllers on newegg that it is confusing

In Feedback people say it is compatible with windows right out of the box

It does seem that this one includes the reciever as well...

I will probably go with that one you just linked me blazed_1

I decided to go with the wired 360 controller.

People find the wireless 360 controller very good however most of them are bothered with no lack of turning off the gamepad option. The only way to turn off the wireless 360 controller on PC seems to be taking off the batteries. Lame if you ask me.

That is pretty lame. You would think being a Microsoft product they would have that option. Even the third party drivers for the PS3 controllers have that option.

yeah very lame indeed.

The middle button does not do anything but shows the battery life only it seems.

Thats what people are saying.

I wish someone with wireless 360 controller could confirm that for PC.
