this^^ nice CPU, mobo and RAM.. change the CPU to a sandy bridge Pentium and you will should come close to hitting the $250 mark plus you will have a nice platform for overclocking when you get your I5 or I7 smile.gif

well the guy wants it round about $250 . So thats the best out there . or he can just go for AMD.

This looked very good, but I wasn't quick enough on the draw. It seems the mobo sold out, go figure.

I've never hardware overclocked anything, so I'm unsure what to be looking for in that regard. I'd probably have to especially worried about cooling and all of that, right? Is the ram better than what I linked to a few posts back with the heatsink?

I suppose I really just need to go over all the awesome advice in the thread, and let it digest before making any final decisions.

Two final questions...

- Should I be looking into a z68 or a z77 board?
- Does anyone know where I could find one of the above type boards around ~100 us dollars new? (Yes, I realize it wouldn't be as nice as the above recommended open-box)
