Best psu to sleeve? - Page 3

Im just going to steal this thread for a small question about witch psu get. I'm going to sleeve my first PSU i already have a semi modular one but I don't want to open it so i can sleeve the 24pin etc... So i've been looking for a modular PSU and found that some say the SilverStone striders to be a good first time sleeving PSU. Witch of the striders have dobble cables or not? The one I have looked at is; ST75F-G Evolution 750W and I also found \this any experience with that one and sleeving?

Thanks.

According to this post by Ixsis the new model striders no longer have a double sense wire. So pretty sure you can sleeve it 1-to-1.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
After you buy it, I'm guessing your next question will be: can I remove the capacitors from the PCIe wires? Yes you can, but it might increase coil whine depending on load. How many GPUs are you planning?

Im running 1 GPU atm, but i might get one more later. I got another question does the mdpc sleeve "hide" the color on the wires good or do I need to rewire the hole psu?

MDPC has very dense weave compared to others, but you still must stretch it very hard to close it completely. If you use black or other dark sleeve and stretch it well, the colours won't bleed through. But if you use white or other light sleeve then you really should replace wires with white. Personally I always had trouble stretching any sleeve and holding it closed, until I followed this video from Lutro0.

Ok, that's great. But it seems like no shops in Norway got the silverstone psu in stock-.- So iIhave to get another one and I'm wondering if there is any other psu's under 1000 W without the double wires etc...

Thanks for the answers Wisk:)
