What do you think about a Sony Vaio S 15?

Here's an ebay link I'm lookin at..

and 6 gigs of ram.

Looks good but sony's are very expensive if you need to replace a part.

How about an overall budget of $1400, spend $400 on a cheap and cheerful reliable laptop and spend $1000 on a gaming computer for games and video/photo editing. Then you could upgrade the desktop when ever you want and you also have a good rugged laptop. thumb.gif

Go higher $2000 $1500 desktop $500 laptop more options open up.
