I've reverted back to the default BIOS and I'm still getting the issue. It doesn't seem to be OC related. I'll try a fresh install on a spare drive tomorrow when I can rummage around without waking roommates.
The mouse stops after a while. I first notice the internet drops out, for about 30 seconds I can't load tabs or some chat times out. Then explorer stops responding and the task bar just has the blue circle whenever I hover over it and if I hang around longer then the mouse stops and I don't get a response. Next time it happens I'll see if anything like caps and num lock trigger on the keyboard.
I completed the SSD firmware update and nothing has happened yet so I'll have to wait it out for a bit longer and see if anything happens.
