"We recommend that you install the memory modules from the red slots for better overclocking capability"

cool, got them right. i suggest the strongest pump (pressure and flow combination) your budget will allow, so if you ever include the gpu in the loop you don't need to upgrade. take your time.

If I ever decided I wanted to WC my cards I'd be out of luck with getting a Full Waterblock because the Heatsinks for the Vram and Mosfets are permanently attached with Arctic Silver permanent adhesive. lachen.gif

Edit:
I got tired of the heatsinks falling off because the stock adhesive was garbage.

Alright so after a whole night of thinking it over, I have decided to research a similar model to the Alphacool Repack. I didn't like the Repack Dual DC because the pump housing and design just seems like trouble setting reviews aside that is. I have been looking into the design of the Repack Single/swiftech series and it seems it utilizes one of two well known pumps in conjunction with the reservoir.

Alphacool Repack Single 5.25" Acrylic Reservoir - Clear - Laing DDC / Swiftech MCP35x Series (15165)

I need to know if anybody has seen a review for this pump/res combo.

I've seen some good things about that particular res/pump combo, you just need to be sure and get an MCP350/355/35x with the stock top to ensure it's compatible.

No problem there as FrozenCPU includes the compatible pumps(s) in the accessories menu below where you add to cart, This pump/res may be $30 over my budget but I feel it will be a better choice in the long run. thumb.gif
