189.99

http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0387325

139.99 - $ 50.00 for combo set = $ 89.99

Total $ 279.98
- $ 10.00 MIR

= $ 269.99 20 over budget ......... sorry

I'm with you where if he is happy with his current setup, theres no reason to put money into it just because he has it, but GPU is going to be the most noticable upgrade of anything, as CPU/RAM/ETC will only benchmark better, not really notice any differences.

thank you^^
like i said.. if he is about gaming performance. a 7950 would almost double his fps

700
628
640

and here
http://www.computerbase.de/artikel/grafikkarten/2012/test-nvidia-geforce-gtx-690/6/

his cpu should be capable of running. of course there would be a slight difference to s1155 but not that much noticable but therefot he can OC it to 4ghz what shoud make the deal acceptable

dont really think he needs to buy a new CPU and mobo. although if he does id be more then happy to take his phenom x6 off his hands smile.gif

If OP is satified with his computers preformance maybe look into buying pariphs to make game play more enjoyable? speakers nice headphones mech keyboard? or ever think of just not spending it and saving money?
