I am actually unsure if Unwinder did something to mess with it. I was not actually able to test beta 9, maybe sugarhill would know.

With the latest drivers downloaded I'm having flickering issues. I tried this:

open MSIAfterburner.cfg in notepad.

Scroll to bottom and change this:

[ATIADLHAL]
UnofficialOverclockingEULA = I confirm that I am aware of unofficial overclocking limitations and fully understand that MSI will not provide me any support on it
UnofficialOverclockingMode = 2

But it is still present. Is there anything else I need to do to fix this issue?

Browsers', like Firefox and the like, hardware acceleration can be disabled by navigating to options, going to advance and there would be a check box for hardware acceleration. Sorry can't remember exactly, but its not that much hard to find.

Flash can be disabled by loading a YouTube video, right clicking the video, clicking settings, and un tick the hardware acceleration part.

Microsoft Office also allows for newer AMD cards to be used for hardware acceleration. You can turn it off by downloading Microsoft's Fix-it tool. Just google disable microsoft office hardware acceleration fix it.

Flickering can be solved by following OP's first and second post. Good Luck!

Cool, I think. we have the same GPU, The one with the DualX cooler with the twin 8 pin.

EDIT: Are you running multiple monitors? OP has a video about fixing flickering with multiple monitors via disabling power play. Try using the beta 10 AB, it has some tick boxes to try to counteract flickering.

OK, thanks for that information. I just did as you said and restarted. Hopefully that fixes the flickering issue while I'm on here. However one issue is still prevalent, and that is flickering upon Windows start up. Right as Windows finishes loading, I get massive flickering that lasts like 0.5 seconds maybe. This is not there if I were to uninstall the drivers. But it comes back the moment I install the drivers. Is this still a driver issue?

Edit: Seems I still get occasional screen flickering even with all the above settings changed. Could someone tell me a driver that works for them besides the most up to date one?

You can try a clean installation and by following the 1st two posts of the OP. You can ask tsm106 for some more advice. I am not too sure about doing a multi monitor setup.

@tsm106

So I was running the automatic profile management, GTA4 will crash upon startup, 1st loading credit screen will show but after 3 seconds or less, application will close with error prompt of "GTA4 has stopped working" however the game would work if I did not put any profiles for the 2D and 3D settings. Is there any way around this? Thanks!

EDIT: Besides GTA4, NBA 2k13 and GTA SA also does the same thing. Other games are fine, the only thing these 3 have in common is a presence of an ENB, or a graphics mod. I think the automatic profile management has a conflict with the ENB or possibly the d3d9.dll within the game file. I tested them without any profiles set for the 2D and 3D and it works, however if there is a profile present in either one of them, the game fails to work.

FINAL EDIT: Got it fixed by somewhat following these steps. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/777250-skyrealism-enb-evolved/page-72 read the top most post by the darth raven guy. Anyways, basically all I did was open up MSI AB, clicked settings, clicked the OSD tab, clicked more, then click on for the line talking about supporting for edited/modified direct3d. Then viola its good to go, just a note to guys who wants to use automatic profile management but can still play games with ENB's or modified direct3d files.

Does anyone know why iTunes is using my GPU? It's a 3D application? I get that Microsoft Office and Browsers similar to Firefox use the GPU for hardware acceleration since they did advertise it to do so. But seriously, iTunes? Dafuq? To make it worse it's just the updater, Apple rolleyes.gif The softwareupdate.exe of Apple seems to also be using the GPU, anyone know how to disable iTunes updater from using the GPU? It's quite useless IMO, there isn't really any need for it to use the GPU. Thanks!
