There isn't much of the PCB visible, since the card in installed under my other card, and the water block covers the entire downward side anyway.
What is it you'd like to see on the PCB that might help diagnose my AB issues?

I did that, but yet I'm still getting flickers at random times. I guess my last question would be: Do I need to overclock this card in order for these settings to help out with the flicker issue? Because I am currently running on the stock settings.

Hey Guys (lol first post of 2014 for this thread)

Can anybody tell if there is a way to make Origin not run as a 3D application. Since whenever I run an Origin game, Originclientservice.exe or something like that runs as a 3D application. Thus, it makes my GPU kick in to 3D mode even after I exit the actual game since the program is still running in the background. I was wondering if there are any of you that managed to disable Origin Client Service from using 3D clocks.

Thanks

Open AB, click on the i for information. That will pop up a window listing apps running 3D mode. You will see origin there. Now open rtss and add the origin exe listed in the AB info window. Restart AB and voila, no more 3D for that app. You'll have to do this for any app that calls upon the gpu on the desktop, so its under your control or perrogative

Can anyone tell me which is better to use nowdays,

TriXX OC Utility V4.8.2 or

Sapphire Trixx 4.4.0b-MOD.zip or

Sapphire Trixx 4.3.0-MOD.zip or

Afterburner 2.3.1

I have 2 HIS 7970 Ghz Edition under water as well.. i have been reading your infos at the first page and i'm unsure which to use.. i had used both programs in the past execpt Trixx 4.8.2 which is recent and any trixx mod either...

Another question.. i can overclock by using CCC as well.. is that better off to use instead of having so many overlapping program going on my pc? I know i can upps the power boost to 20% which i already did that.. currently my overclock without any either program, just straight from CCC, 1100/1500mhz. Just a mild overclock.. and i'm just testing the waters.. rolleyes.gif

If you are benching and going for an all out record run, then AB

for daily stable OC's then Trixx is better. ...IMO
