Not in terms of extreme cooling clock speed, which was what I was mainly talking about. So maybe some records will be broken, but not all. Maybe it'll overclock the same chip higher under normal air/water cooling, but I doubt it. Even if it does, the difference will be marginal.
Also, Kit Guru was NOT talking about the Extreme not having PWM mosfets. Kit Guru was talking about the Extreme not having the waterblock mosfet heatsink that the Formula does and why. The Extreme still does have PWM mosfets. It would have been a major step back if they went to traditional mosfets.
And how do you know it will be the best without having tested it against other boards? Asus is not the only top-end manufacturer, there's lots of competition from Gigabyte, MSI, and ASRock.
