4. Supreme III audio on board
5. Keep the LED ROG logo.

I'm sure this is going to be a great board but i'm afraid of the price tag.

Thunderbolt does nothing but add unnecessary cost to the motherboard because the majority of users have no use for it on a desktop PC yet.
I agree with your point regarding value but its better to have new feature like thunderbolt.
If you are looking for extreme features but lower price point then Asus have already made Maximus V Formula and Gene for you all.
The Extreme is having some new features this time,so I like the approch by Asus.

Have been watching this and other forums on the MVE and the rising consensus feels Asus’ teasing campaign is beginning to taste like an old tennis shoe. It was fun at first like 8weeks ago, but the immense amount of secrecy surrounding this board has been a little overwhelming for many loyal ROG consumers. Now here we are a week after Computex and still no official word on pricing or release date. Some enthusiasts have given up on the perpetual waiting and are purchasing from Gigabyte, MSI, and ASRock, and not looking back. Seems the anticipation has developed into sheer frustration for a few, and I cannot blame them.

Not to mention each day that passes gets us closer to the new Haswell platform.
If they keep on postponing their full size Z77 ATX 1155 ROG boards for another few weeks they will become a bad investment/upgrade.

The only reason they are so late, is that they decide to redesign and add thunderbolt.

1 comment, thunderbolt isn't a welcome feature for OCers, from the ES samples i saw at computex, and what I have seen with my own eyes the board might have thunderbolt capability, if it does probably an add in card, and not on-board, thunderbolt eats system resources like candy(4x PCI-E lanes=BCLK **** block). Also manufacturer have no idea how the market will react, they are going to test ya. lol.

the formula is nice tho, i held one and looked at it, it seemed pretty cool.
