If it ain't broke don't fix it.
Outdated, hardly. With legacy support of programs, great compatibility, ease of use, simple. Its back to basics of an OS, and many programs I use are VERY old, for good reason, they don't need to be changed every time a new Computer OS comes out.
Why waste time and money for no productivity gain?
OH NOES ITS WIN7 ITS SO NEW, meanwhile you waste thousands changing rigs over to it, for no gain at all.
