You should have something like this:

Yes I have the right one, but all the slider does is bump the reduced voltage up to normal voltage. You can't see it with GPUZ but I see it when I hook up a DMM.

I'll go with Valenz then, you might have been screwed by nvidia on that one.
Flash the bios with the old one and it should be ok...

After some research I do have the old one. There's only one bios out for them. So anyone who has a 670 PE might want to check with a DMM to see.

Folks the update really works! Wish I had a multi-meter to actually read the voltage I'm pulling right now but I suppose I'll pay more attention to temps for now. Highest recorded temperature so far is 60C after Crysis 1 & Crysis 2 gaming. After installing Afterburner 2.23 and increasing my core voltage from default to +40 I have achieved a +46 point increase in my GPU clocks which use to be at +61 and is now +107. Also was able to increase my memory clocks from +372 to 411. So far very stable, looking to decrease the core voltage if possible, just wish I could see what the voltage is.

So as far as clocks go:

MSI GTX 670 PE (Bios 80.04.19.00.36 (P2004-0005) <--unsure if this is the original bios or newer

GPU Clock @ 1296mhz (up from 1250 pre 2.23)
Memory Clock @ 6828mhz effective
Core Voltage @ +40
Memory Voltage @ Nothing yet
Aux Voltage @ Nothing yet

Hope this helps other frustrated PE owners out there!

Now you just need a DMM to see if yours is just going from a reduced voltage to 1.175.

It hits 1.175 in GPU-Z but I heard that's the highest GPU-Z will display. Only by using a multi-meter can you obtain your true voltage pull. The point is though, once I tried 2.23 I was able to increase my clocks to levels that I couldn't in 2.22. I'm almost sure I'm pulling more voltage now, before I wouldn't be able to make it halfway through a Unigine run but now it has no problems whatsoever.

So according to the post at the top of the page, moving the core slider only brings voltage up to 1.175? That's odd because even before I did any overclocking GPU-Z was saying I was at 1.175 under load from stock settings.

GPUZ doesn't show the correct voltage on these cards.

We don't really know what +100 mv really is. MSI reps are claiming the gpu maxes out at 1.175 but honestly I don't believe them at all.
