I do enjoy your analysis of bits and pieces folks make.
I'm curious on why you think the EK CPU block is might be a good performer. Historic data? Insight into the design?

Hence my second request to stop pushing Koolaid. If they can sort out their problems AND deliver significant verifiable performance improvements, I may consider EK products in my next build / upgrade. At this point, they are not even an option. There are other manufacturers out there willing to stand behind their product right now. I will gladly support them and try to provide constructive feedback if possible to hopefully aid them in making their product better. Aesthetics are not my top priority in my builds. A product that works correctly and reliably is. EK needs to get over that hurdle first. End of discussion on that topic.
The circle pattern isn't eye bleedingly bad, nor do I find it attractive or practical. I'm not sure what they were thinking on this one. Just leave the plate blank. Save a few bucks on machining; almost everyone wins!
For the record, I am abstaining from the vote because I am not considering their products anyway. Still, the look -- I do not like.
