Gtx 580 3-way sli problem

Here is the thing
I had 2 gtx 580 in sli mode and recently I bought the third one and I installed it today and I enabled the sli mode from NCP AND I CAN SEE 3 gtx 580 there an when I run benchmarked the 3d vantage and heaven I get only the performance of one card like 23fps at the beganing which I used to get with one card and same thing with ventage around 90fps at the beganing, and as u guys can see my mobo is 4 way sli the EVGA 4 way classified and my CPU is i7 970 at 4gh


ONE THING IS MY PREVIOUES 2 GTX IS 1.5gb
AND MY NEW ONE IS 3GB I DON'T KNOW IF THATS THE PROBLEM NORMALLY IT SHOULD DOWN GRADE TO 1.5 when you've able the sli mode
And I'm using the 3 gb as a primary since it has 3 gb ram

Help me guys I was so excited and now I'm so spoiled
I don't know what's wrong, and also my power supplie is 1200 watts

You can't mix and match different memory types with Nvidia - they have to be the exact same card (can be different manufactures, different clock speeds, etc.)

No way because I research before and they say memory dosent matter if one is 1.5 gb and the next one is 3 gb it will automatically adjust to lower setting
Is that right?

you must use "CoolBits" to mix and match memory, it is not recommended though and is not a "stock configuration"

With AMD / ATI you are able to mix and match no matter the amounts of memory and it will go with the lowest amount
