Crucial Ballistix Tactical 16gb 2x8gbs ddr3 1600mhzs overclocking voltages ???
Ok like every one else I started buying parts for a anticipated ivy bridge bridge. One of the first things I bought was one set of Crucial Ballistix Tactical 16gb (2x8gbs) ddr3 1600mhzs ..................... Now leaving them sit on a shelf and waiting for everything else to get here is just beyond my ability .....lol , so I placed them in last years computer sabertooth 990fx with a amd fx-8120 and they boot up fine but only as 1333mhzs but if I bump the voltage to 1.65 and manually set as 1600 or 1866 they will boot up fine at 2133 they boot some times but shut down when doing stuff I assume for lack of enough power.
My new mobo and I7 should be here by the end of the week:D
I would like to know the general voltages for higher mhzs such as 2400, 2600, 2800 that others have had to run stable with this Crucial ram?
