I completely agree with that man. Theres not a whole lot that UPS does that makes sense. Im an engineering co-op at their aircraft maintenance facility and there are absolutely no perks at all to working for them ha. Cant even get a discount on their services.

I've had that same problem so many times with packages that required signatures. Knowing that I wouldnt be home you try to arrange a pickup but like you said they wont do it till the first delivery attempt is made. Hopefully they pull through soon ha.

Lazy UPS man couldnt even bring it to my front door. Left it in the damn apartment office with no notification at all. Had to find out about it via a email notification I subscribed too.

Mine evidently got jacked at the UPS terminal, hasn't moved since 6-23. It was scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, I guess an exception will be generated then.

I wouldn't worry. UPS lets stuff sit all the time in order to make sure it's on time and not early.

Still working on overclocking. Just crashed in heaven on the stock bios at 1308 so Im guessing it should be stable around 1280-1300 after some long runs. Max temp was 58C. My Asus GTX 680 TOP had a max temp of 69C in the same situation. Card boost to 1229 with no adjustment at all so Im guessing thats pretty good. As a note these are just quick core clock adjustments and are in no way confirmed 100% stable.

Gonna switch over to the LN2 bios and see what that gives me.

Also running the lastest afterburner beta of 2.2.2

Heres a pic of the voltage confirmed at 1.215

This is not true.. Since UPS cannot get into my building, this is what I do. Sign up for an account at myups.com. The UPS system is smart enough most times to know you are getting a package and will email you letting you know expected delivery date. If you don't get emailed, you can always add the tracking number to your list. If it's set to deliver on Tuesday, you need to go online before midnight and ask for the delivery exception of holding the package. Instead of trying to deliver the package, it will be held at the local UPS distribution site for free. I do this at least 3-5 times a week. My 680 lightning was set to be delivered today from my notification from Newegg last friday. I set it to be held and I just picked it up from the UPS center during my lunch break. biggrin.gif

I can't wait to get home and try it out!!

Would you be able to make any observations on the behavior of the card (temp and voltage-wise) idle/load using the ln2 bios vs t he stock bios? Im curious to see just what other factors are affected and if t he LN2 bios would make OC'ing on air any easier or more reliable for 24/7 use

@hammerforged: Can you make other pics with the card in a dark place, to see the gpu reactor light. And the card has lights on the fans as well ?

We probably need a separate thread but for the shake of time....

Okay just checked out the LN2 bios. Found some interesting stuff.

Power percent goes 200% as previously described. Stock boost however is lower, 1202. Voltage reads 1.215 in afterburner. And the big surprise look what it reads on the multimeter: (1.255)

20120626145038316.jpg

Pretty interesting. As far as overclocking goes in the LN2 bios I crashed at 1333 on the core. So Im assuming stable at around 1300-1320 in longer runs of heaven hopefully. It doesnt appear that LN2 bios affects temps or the fan profiles any. I maxed out at 60C during that run. Higher clocks cause higher temps. I dont think that I got a gem of a card by all means but it is certainly nothing to frown at. I havent checked out memory yet. Just trying to nail down my core clock. Im gonna run heaven for awhile at 1310 in the LN2 bios and see how long it will go. I'll probably be sticking with the LN2 bios because of the higher voltage. Also when I turned my computer off and switched to the LN2 bios the display driver wasnt present and didnt load so I had to re-install it for some reason.

Someone can make another thread and link it here for everyone to compile their results if they would like. Im going to get back to playing wink.gif

- The cards leds on the back are pretty visible. No idea what all the leds on the pcb do but they are fairly bright. Not enough to be bothersome, to me at least. Each fan has one led on it as well.
