Respectfully superericla, i'm sure you're aware that the reference GTX 680 does not generally overclock anywhere near 1350, in fact out of 3 680s I tried they topped out at a 1240 maximum boost, with others lower than that. Furthermore, all reference 680s are subject to the dreaded 70C throttle which doesn't happen on the lightning - and most reference 680s do hit high temperatures unless you use high manual fan settings which will make your overclock unenjoyable.

Now i'm not sure if you have an extrodinary chip, or if you're testing with wacky conditions (vsync on, low ambient temps, water cooling) but 1350 is definitely not the norm. I'd say 99.9% of reference 680s won't last an hour with ultra crysis 2 at 2560 resolution with vsync turned off, not even close. Like I said though maybe you got REALLY lucky? I dunno your statement just seems inflammatory especially with the kookoo emote that you put there....come on. Lastly, the voltage isn't fully unlocked yet. I'm getting this with 1.21V.

Yeah, but the lightning should go much further with voltage control. I'm fine with my current GTX 680's, but the lightning looks very tempting.

I do in fact have a reference 680 signature(5 vrms) and it is 100% stable 24/7 @ 1333MHz with ANY game or benchmark I run. I'm sure you'll dispute that, because like I said earlier, you know everything rolleyes.gif ...
A true stability test would be attempting to fold on it. I've been able to run at ~1350MHz core on any game, benchmark, burn-in test, or stress test but when it comes to folding, 1350MHz just isn't stable enough after ~1 hour.

I don't fold.... And I'm sure plenty of users around here have their own personal sure fire stability test. Heaven @ 2560 with extreme tessellation is the best I've found so far. That brought my 1250MHz 7970 overclock to it's knees.

You guys' little flame-war has been cleaned up. We all get it, you don't like each other, different people have different ideas about stability testing.

Now drop it and move on, or there will be more 'formal measures' taken.

It definitely goes up though beyond that. It pulls 1.265 on the meter

That is what I was saying earlier in I wish these chips had been better binned than the Galaxy SOC ... those are doing similar core clocks to these Lightnings but with 1.175V (likely 1.21V on the hardware level)

There's a lot of assumptions you're making about "binning". please read this thread for some insight: http://www.overclock.net/t/1032362/the-concept-of-binning-vs-cherry-picking-gpu-chips
