No way in heck I would ever pay that much for a PSU. While this new flagship is nice, it just isn't truly required, we have plenty of options that get the job done well and safe for far less.

I don't even care that my system has a peak power draw of <600W, this PSU is hot.

Just out of curiosity though, is the "AX" label red or orange? It looks orange to me, but it would look great it many systems (like mine... biggrin.gif) if it were red.

That's a pretty epic psu. Doubt I'll ever build a rig that requires 1200w, though. I assume they'll make them for lower wattages eventually.
