Doesn't this break the invasion of privacy law or something?

I wonder what would happen to you if you shot them down thinking.gif

Actually no, Mythbusters did an episode on that and it turns out if you fire a gun into the air and the bullet eventually comes down it's incredibly unlikely to hit you (probably other people as well unless you live in a city) and if a regular bullet does hit you, it will just hurt a bit. Not kill you.

Unless they start putting these inside or in direct view of a person's private residence, I have no issue. It says in the article they are only to be allowed in public areas, so I don't think we have anything to worry or the person with violated privacy can just sue for an obscene amount of money, which I wouldn't mind from a few people seeing me in my pjs. Also, this would really help in danger areas, congested traffic areas and areas where it's generally too difficult for an officer to maneuver through.

Also, unfortunately, I doubt that any of us will ever really actually be able to shoot any of these down as they are probably going to be flying like a few thousand feet up in the air and they have really high powered cameras that will probably be able to see your name tag on your shirt from that high.
