UPDATE: LIGHTS AND WINDOWED SIDE PANEL

First, sorry for the bad pictures.

So I finally got one of the windowed side panel for for the Colossus/Shinobi XL, and of course with a window you need lights.

The problem is the only way I could get a panel that was affordable in the US was to get a black one. First I popped out the rivets to remove the window. Then I sprayed it with Krylon Paint and Primer in One White Satin finish. Also, I'll be up front, I'm lazy so I did nothing to the panel prior to painting--no sanding nothing. That said I think it still came out pretty good.700

While I had the rivets off I took the time to paint them as well, whats weird though is that even the official white panel uses black rivets.

I also ordered an NZXT 2m White LED kit (it was half the price of the BitFenix LEDs and has an on off switch). I ran them from the bottom-most PCI slot down the bottom of the case up the drive bays and bunched the excess at the top.

Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed. The smoked window just looks hazy rather than intentionally dark. Furthermore, the LEDs don't cast very even light. That said it is pretty cool to have the whole thing lit up white with blue creeping out from behind the mobo tray (from the side panel LEDs).
