I think these are VERY good scores.
I wouldnt say the scores are low, but I would say that the performance per watt is rather dismal. One card is drawing as much as two X1950XTXs draw, and more than two 7900GTXs draw.

And the performance is basically on par also with two of those cards in either Crossfire or SLI mode.

This is about what I expected to be honest.

And, the benchies are run under Windows XP, thus utilizing DX9. I wonder if Vista/DX10 will result in different benchmarks.

They're not only not optimized, but they're extremely buggy to the point of being an embarrassment During the vendor showing, every game crashed

With 3DMark 07, you will probably be able to compare only DX10 cards. So you could be like "crap, my x1950xtx won't work in 3DMark07!" Well it won't work in DX10 games.

its quick, and seeing as it is over double mine in 3DMark06, i should be impressed.

Im not, it's fecking huge, the card is REDICULOUSLY expensive, same for the rest of his rig. Yet my "meager" PC is half the speed. It really needs to get 15k to impress me tbh, i know it's one card, but a crossfire or quad-sli rig could come pretty close. Not next gen, just an evolution.
