I think I will stay with 1866Mhz @ 8-10-9-24 @ 1,595V - It's a fine CL at that speed and the rest of the system works stable after solving WHEA logger issues while cpu oc: i5-3570k @ 4,5Ghz, vcore offset +0,050, LLC 3, turbo voltage +0,004
Would be interested in your stable settings @ 1866Mhz

Hey wopro,

Welcome to the forums. If you plan on sticking around, go ahead and fill out your sig rig so we can see what you got!

But, I actually jacked up the voltages because I had been failing at 2133, and couldn't get them fully stable there unless I pumped 1.55V into them, which I didn't think was necessary. I am currently at ALL default values at 1866, other than the 9-9-9-24 timings.

If you would like screenshots, I have them uploaded to my images on this profile:
http://www.overclock.net/gallery/image/view/album/88124/id/907094/sort/display_order

It is the one linked and the next 4 screenshots.

Let me know if you need anything else!

Sorry for double post, but I had tried 1866, 9-9-9-24, and instantly bsoded. Perhaps my voltage had not been enough. It's good to know that it's not the ram, but the motherboard, which I can live with since I can get 4.5 ghz on my 3570k. Plus, the ram doesn't give much performance increase unless your overclock is above 4.5, which I am still trying for, haven't got it stable.

Use thaiphoon burner.

Use it to detect your dimms. Then use thaiphoon burner to see the overclocked speed from 1333 to 1600

And it will give you a good idea of the timings you will need to loosen it to. Even the secondary ones

It allowed me to go from 9-9-9-24-2T 1333mhz 1.5v to 9-9-9-20-1T 1600mhz 1.35v

And I bet I can even lower my voltage further.

I was a newbie before as well

If you have trouble overclocking.

you might want to loosen tWCL as well as the other primary timings. I found tWCL be very important. I always put it 1-2 lower than my CAS latency if possible. But never more than that.

I will give thaiphoon burner a shot, but I'm not aiming for a lowered voltage, Im looking for the highest overclock.

sometimes you have to loosen tWCL timing. It should always be tWCL = CAS - 2 or tWCL = CAS - 1
it can help a lot

You can also go by thaiphoonburner. Read spd. Then change memory frequency. And it will suggest you new timings. That worked for me.

I want to buy a motherboard P8Z77-V LE or P8Z77-V LK (instead P5Q) or ASRock Z77 Extreme4 (- Extreme9-).

I need to collect memories 24-32 GB. Will the memory of the following models:
- Kingston 16384MB DDR3 1600MHz HyperX Blu (KHX1600C10D3B1K2/16G);
- Kingston DDR3-1600 8192MB PC3-12800 HyperX (KHX1600C10D3B1/8G);
- Kingston 8192MB DDR3 1600MHz (KVR16N11 / 8);
- Kingston DDR3-1333 8192MB PC3-10600 (KVR1333D3N9/8G);
- Crucial Rendition 8192MB DDR3 1333MHz (RM102464BA1339);
- Goodram DDR3-1333 8192MB PC3-10600 (GR1333D364L9/8G);
- Team Elite DDR3-1333 8192MB PC-10666 (TED38192M1333HC9);
- Team DDR3-1600 32768MB PC3-12800 (Kit of 4x8192) Xtreem Vulcan (TXD332G1600HC9QC-V_TLD332G1600HC9QC01);
-Samsung DDR3-1333 8192MB PC3-10600 (M378B1G73BH0-CH9)?
--OR--

Will the memory:
Geil Veloce 2x8GB DDR3 1600Mhz (GEV316GB1600C10DC),
GeIL EVO CORSA 2x8GB DDR3-1600 9-9-9-28 (GOC316GB1600C9DC),
Geil Evo Two 2x8GB DDR3 1600Mhz (GET316GB1600C10DC),
GeIL EVO Two 2x8GB DDR3-1600 9 -9-9-28 (GET316GB1600C9DC),
with the motherboard ASRock Z77 Extreme4 (- Extreme9-)

I would be grateful for any response, Valery Sylow

Guys, sorry for the bump, but I've found how to get it to 2133mhz. Increase the voltage of the memory controller. Completely stable at DDR3 2133 12-14-13-28.

Also, what the hell are you talking about? Just get the Samsung DDR3 1600 CL11, that's what we are talking about.
