i3 2100 / 2120 / 2130 Help (Battlefield 3)

Hello everyone,

I'm planning to buy one of these processors (i3 2100 / 2120 / 2130).
Will it run Battlefield 3 on high/ultra settings at 1440 x 900 on a 64 players server with decent fps (50+), without any lag spikes?

My pc configuration:

-MSI R6850 Cyclone PE/OC 1GB GDDR5
-Corsair CX500 v2 Power Supply
-1440 x 900 monitor
-Seagate Barracuda 250 GB 7200 RPM and a Western Digital 160GB 5400 RPM HDD

-I'm planning to buy 8GB Corsair 1600Mhz DDR3 RAM along with one of those processors (i3 2100 / 2120 / 2130)

If you can afford it, the 2130 really is going to be the best choice. However even the 2100 should perform similarly well in BF3, the 2130 is still the faster CPU. The 2120 was just on sale on newegg for $115 for a 2120, if you keep your eye out you might catch the 2130 on sale too. Hope this helps! thumb.gif

i3-21xx is sufficient for BF3. To give you an idea, here is 1080p using i3-2100 and 560 Ti (recorded using Fraps, so actual gameplay FPS is going to be even higher).

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm gonna go now and check the prices locally, online stores here (in India) are bit more expensive.
