Yea, after he says "Now that your devices can communicate and integrate with the Xbox". It's pretty clear it's not emulation.

If those are XBox games you are buying, and you don't have an Xbox, you are throwing your money away.

This point may apply in a vague way to the original XBox, but the limiting factor in emulating an XBox 360 is that emulation is inherently slow.

Even a very fast and mature XBox 360 emulator would need a PC vastly faster than anything available now to make 360 games playable.

Yes, it is, but the CPU architecture is completely different, and other hardware would need to be emulated as well. Even if the 3D API had a direct translation/wrapper, that's only one factor of many.

Emulation is typically at least an order of magnitude slower than native, and usually more. Current x86 CPUs are certainly more powerful than Xenon in the Xbox 360, but they aren't 10-100x faster.

This is what you get when you click on a Xbox 360 game on Windows 8 Xbox Live Games App. If you click Play on Xbox it asks you to install the Xbox Companion App so you can connect Windows 8 with the Xbox 360. I am pretty sure this is what they mean by saying Xbox Games coming to Windows 8.

Meh, you can still. There's still roughly 40-80 servers running at any given time in halo pc, i haven't even looked at custom edition though but probably there too.

Also, as stated above, it's probably just going to be the replacement for GFWL or what theyll be callin it now anyway.

The Forza Motorsport series is a fantastic game for anyone who likes cars. I actually bought an Xbox (original) just to play Ninja Gaiden: Black and Forza Motorsport. And felt my money was well-spent I might add.
