Not really , for ram I reach 7gb use while just running couple of softwares , also more ram is good u can make ur system super fast , use ram disk and lunch softwares from ram disk , then use ram cache will give u read and write better then any ssd - only pice ssd compete with ram cache

It is being used...

Each GPU has 4GB to work with, and any texture memory data is mirrored between the two. If something is in use on one bank of memory, it's going to be mirrored on the other.

Oh yea, lol at the people complaining about this card and mentioning "only" 4GB usable. Please show us some games that need close to or more than that. We'll wait. Until then, these cards will sell out like they always have.

well simple use any good game with 3d x 3 monitors 1080p + 1 (2560x 1440) desktop monitor and that will be enough to make it use full power
