Just came on here now to post about it. Looks interesting, but with the 9000 DPI i'm guessing the sensor is .

It's likely the custom avago 9800 from the Oroborous.

I'm actually interested in this mouse. (Takes a lot coming from me)

Edit:

4G Dual Sensor System - 8200dpi
Ambidextrous form factor
Razer Synapse 2.0 enabled
9 programmable Hyperesponse buttons
1000Hz Ultrapolling / 1ms response time
Up to 200 inches per second / 50g acceleration
Approximate size: 124 mm / 4.88” (Length) x 63 mm / 2.48” (Width) x 36 mm / 1.42” (Height)
Approximate Weight: 95 g / 0.21 lbs

I may or may not be wrong bout the sensor. IPS and accel specs are off from a reg 9800. More Philips than Avago. PLN2034? We'll see.

Yes I'm strangely interested also.

The weight being that low surprised me.

call me a pessimist, but there is nothing about that mouse that makes me look twice except the shape. And considering the release date it will be competing with the CM storm spawn and the BST mouse which both have superior sensors
post #7 of 757
The shape looks promising. yay! for non glossy sides as well, but that's just me. The top view reminds me of the small "laptop" mouse from Logitech, which isn't a bad thing because i find those mice comfortable to hold.. I'll probably wait until it goes on sale at Fry's or something before even thinking of buying it.

Shape is the only thing that makes me look into it.

shape and weight are extremely interesting, as well as button composition, really hope the sensor performance is up to snuff

This is a next revision PTE right? Is Avago 9800 a dual sensor laser?
