On topic of the Taipan, is there any word on what mousepads it should work with? As far as I can see a none black hard pad seems like it would be best, but haven't seen any actual test results. Some of you guys that have it, can we expect any tests on various surfaces to see which works best?
20

Still, i'm sure it will cost around 100€ when it comes out.

SAII = 60€

Taipan is most likely hard-surface friendly, it's a laser mice afterall.

Seriously, a bad workman always blames his tools.

or I use the right tool for the job and work with greater comfort and productivity

that being said there are always alternatives such as the Abyssus that are even cheaper

sensor really has been second fiddle for me for ages as long as its performance was good enough

The latest VCSEL solutions are fine on most surfaces.

I work in the ergonomics industry and for a CPE. You couldn't be more wrong about what works for people other than yourself. Get a clue, honestly.

I have tested it with Goliathus Speed, Black Icemat, Fatpad, QCK+, Destructor White, Scarab BF3 and on a wooden desk, but the surface apparently doesnt matter.

Can anyone who has the mouse draw circles at 8200 CPI 1000hz? Thanks.

I would never buy Razer again. I have a Lycose and it is useless. I do quite like the Deathadder 3.5G though, but they still stink of low quality to me.

No offense, but that is pure ignorance.
As mentioned before certain places in this subforum build quality is largely a game of chance. Most mouse producers use the exact same sensor, cables, switches etc. Literally. The shells them selves may often be produced and assembled in the same factories too.

Point being any build quality differences that you think you perceive is all in your head.

I know the lycosa keyboard specifically had issues with the rubber coating fading really fast, but that is model exclusive. Saying a new razer mouse is going to suck because a three year old model keyboard sucked is not very informed.
