Its a gimmick feature for a gaming peripheral; you're not looking at your keys while gaming, if you are you are doing it completely wrong.

I suppose I can understand the feature being viable for those who still can't touch-type (although in today's world of the internet age, that might as well be the same as not being able to write), but that's a pretty big crutch, and not something that is even necessary if you just leave your lights on, which is better for preventing eyestrain anyway.

Through and through its pretty much just down to bling. I have a Vortek KBC RACE with white backlit keys and it does look pretty awesome. No shame in buying something that looks nice as long as it performs well to begin with.

Guys don't know which Drugs some Guys took in the last days, but I got this mouse since an hour and have to say it's a Master Piece and superb. Absolute strong performance, dream massive quality and the best symmetrical Shape with a superb Grip I ever felt and saw.

I am not kidding, this mouse is a Monster in my eyes and the best Razermouse because of Quality and Haptic ever. And I am a halfprofessional CSS Player where a strong performance is needed.

Because of Haptic and Quality other Razermice from the Past are a Joke against the Taipan and I tested almost six to seven different Razer and many other Mice.

LOD is a Dream.

Buttonconstruction is absolutely solid and even.

Tapping as needed in many FPS is a Dream with this mouse.

Mousewheel absolutely clean and well performing.

Sensor does everything I wanto to do and is absolutely precise.

I play with 400 dpi, windows 6 standard, 2.6 ingame and make the 360 turn with 40 cm.

Do me a Favour and try it before you judge.

Not that you Gyus think I am trashtalking.

Here is it besides my Zowie AM on my Puretrak Complexity. Very recommendable mousepad by the way.

I got a Knowledge of good mice and if I say the Taipan is superb you should better believe it.

No I am buizy right now. But Shotcontrol and aimcontrol is kingclass with this mouse. Just had my first Deathmatch Session in Counter Strike Source.

I play with 1000 Hz on 400 dpi and the pollingrate is stable and clean. Checked it my with mouseratechecker.

This is a really strong and for me the most impressive symmetrical I ever had. Tested a Zowie AM, Diamondback to Diamondback 3G, Lachesis, Xai, Sensei, Intelli 1.1 and even a NZXT Avatar in the past.

To say it again, just get it, test it and if you don't like it send it back and get your money back.

If I say it's Dream then it's a Dream.

I don't overdo it, but I am just impressed by this Mouse.

Thats what they are there for, some people dont know where the keys are at all times.

I find it 100% useless and think its an annoyance, haven't looked on my keyboard to find a specific key in prolly 10 years so no need for that smile.gif

To the above, yeah because we should trust 1 random that fanboy all over something, no thanks I listen to people that actually test the mouse for acceleration, lod figures, jitter etc.

No when someone says DIS MOUSE IS A DREAM! BEST EV0000R.

That isn't true for everyone. Just for a basic example, if you follow competitive SC2 at all, LG-IM Nestea, one of the best players in the world, actually uses a generic Korean keyboard, but has a USB powered light that he can clip on to it or something around it at tournaments because he practices in an environment with lights, and for some reason booths at tournaments are basically pitch black. One of the first foreign tournaments he went to he didn't have it and played horribly because he wasn't use to not being able to see his keyboard properly.

I personally never look at my keyboard while gaming, but still feel more comfortable with the lights. Especially in low light environments. I'm not saying I do any better because of the lights, but I am more comfortable with them on for whatever reason. I don't think I've looked at my keyboard to type for over a decade, but still like having lights on.

But it also looks awesome, and looks are what makes makes the difference, all else being equal! thumb.gif

I want some more input on this question, from someone who has the mouse or knows about the sensor.

Does it have the dust in sensor issue? Like the Xai did?

Ex. When you get dust in the sensor it would randomly skip till you cleaned the sensor, the Xai was the only mouse I had to do that stuff with.
