And what do you want to say with that horrible first post on this forum?

Can you set DPI steps to whatever you want or is it tied to some specific DPI value?
Currently I'm using 500dpi for games and 1000dpi for Windows, so this is crucial to me.

You can arrange it in Steps by 100 from 100 up to 8200.

Hope this clears it up. wink.gif

So in your Case you can be sure that you could use 500 precise dpi with the Taipan.

You can also set the LOD absolutely low to Step 1 over the Synapse 2.0 that the Taipan doesn't even Track with a one CD Height. I already tried it with CD's one before and one behind the Sensor and this is a really great LOD Possibility and works absolutely clean.

Well tbh I don't think it would change much, if anything at all, if you would set the LoD higher than that.

How big is this thing compared to a DeathAdder? Looking for a mouse for my MBA that's a bit smaller, but not to the point that I feel like I'm using a laptop mouse.

It's slightly smaller than a Deathadder, but feels really professional im my relatively big Hands.

You know I know it sounds like a big Marketing Trick, if Razer talks about ergonomic Scientists to guarantee the best symmetrical ergonomic mouse.

But if you feel the Mouse, I mean feel with your Hands and see the Build-Quality with your Eyes, you could really mean those words mean something and are for real.

A 3.5 G Deathadder has a to high LOD in my eyes and not the best Haptic. A Deathadder feels like a cheap bunch of Plastic compared to the massive but compact Razer Taipan anyway if you would ask me. The last symmetrical Mouse that impressed me on the same Level because of Haptic was the Zowie AM. But the Taipan is really a ergonomic Monster also, feels really professional im my Hand and does its Job excellent.

The ergonomic Shape is better said so good or comfortably, that I use a symmetrical Mouse the first Time with a Palm and not a Claw Grip in my left Hand and Life, and the ergonmic Side for your Thumb while palm the Mouse fits really great in my left Hand.

Only that you can imagine my Handsize and that you can compare it with you, my Handsize is 20,5 cm from the Palm Hand Edge to the end of the middlefinger.

It is a tad bit smaller than the DA but not much. If you want a good size comparison take a look at my review video as the DA is very similar in size to the Nagga and I have that on my desk during the review. I wouldn't call it as ergonomic as the DA but I actually like that better because I can grip the mouse the way I want to and not be forced to grip it the way the ergonomics are shaped. Will also add that the Taipan feels much better made than the DA and even the Nagga. I feel like they stepped up the quality a notch on this one compared to their previous offerings.
