Does the cursor with this mice move when you lift the mice up?
Like some Razer mices does so the cursor moves towards the right corner of the screen when u lift it up.

NO!!!! It does not do that! That drove me freaking nuts with my Nagga. Thats a flaw with the Phillips Twin Eye sensor which this mouse does not have.

No it's doesn't, I can guarentee that. This mouse is programmable to a almost non existing LOD. You know I just set it back to LOD Step 3 because I had it on Step 1 in a CSS Deathmatch Session and made a few fails, because I slightly lifted up the mouse unconscious, only a lil bit while palming the Mouse in some Situations, where the Sensor already didn't track anymore.

You know I don't prefere a high LOD as the 3,5 G Deathadder with 3.5 mm, but to low is also ****ty from my personal Opinion ofcourse, because there are for sure some Guys which like a almost non existing LOD.

1.5 to 2mm is my Preference.

what are the pros and cons of taipan that have been identified so far?
Got Gigabyte KryptoN (9800 based) theres no z-axis here.
Tracking is OK, feels kinda floaty
Need to test about maximum speed limit.
Prediction set low
dmE1q.png
Not really jitters
No 400dpi by default

Btw the pad that comes with it is the firstest one who is dual sided cloth and hard, very good quality imho

pros:
-good claw grip shape
-good for small hands
-able to configure lift off distance
-no z axis

cons:
-thin mouse feet that dies fast meaning bottom of mouse will hit mousepad in the future
-not a perfect sensor - both pos and neg accel like 9500 mice
-most likely works best on hardpads and decent on softpads
-looks kinda cheap because of the gray side buttons and the plastic grill in front of the mouse (opinionated)
-poorly positioned mouse cord at the bottom of the mouse which potentially could hit the mousepad; then again all mouse cords hit the mousepad or your table but this would be at a closer distance from the mouse. Keep in mind it is also a roughly braided cable which causes more friction than a regular one (this wouldn't matter with a mouse bungee)

As far as I remember, other ADNS9500 mice only have positive acceleration.

I think I read somewhere that the sensei (9500) got negative accel from qck pads and pos from hardpads but it could be wrong. It is true that people here have been saying pos and not neg accel though.

Sensei dosn't malfunction or have typical neg accel cloth, but it has both pos and neg accel in a wobble effect.

-no z axis

Would require the sensor to track on a Z-axis in the first place ^^

What does that mean? Wobble effect? Typical neg accel vs non typical neg accel?
