For the mouse 1+2 switches, I think they have used Omrons in recent mice. Omron are industry standard switches.

How can you hate the deathadder!? I have the original 1800 DPI model and it's the best mouse I have ever used and am dreading replacing it the day it dies.

I don't like the DA because its extremely ergonomic design towards palm grip makes it pretty bad for any other grip style, a factor that can easily outweigh sensor performance

I dunno why but i can easily claw and fingertip grip the Deathadder. The only real problem is the kinda high weight.(and the sticky thing...but thats not an actual problem since it offers you by far the best grip you can get:D).

I didn't think I had big hands, but if i totally palm grip that mouse my fingers stick out about 2cm off the tip of the mouse..

Honestly speaking it's understandable to remain skeptical. Those IPS and accel specs say PTE all over.

It does look like an Avago sensor, indeed.

Knowing Razer, it won't be one of the generic Avago ones but a customized one. We might see the same jump in performance as we had when the S3668 was released (which compared to the 3060, it was far better).

Can't wait to see a proper review. Might get one at launch aswell wink.gif

I can claw or finger grip the DA, I have to because I simply cannot revert to palm. However that doesn't mean its more natural or comfortable than any of my other dozen+ mice.

so you didn't think you had big hands nor did you think the DA is a palm mouse, notice a trend here?

I can't really understand what you mean, let alone notice any trends...
