Sorry synapse doesnt support Diamondback tongue.gif But if you have drivers you can toggle on the fly senseitivity and reduce it to 10 to 5 it will be 400dpi if you have set to 800dpi.

I have it on 6 for 450dpi, more or less.

Guess I'm too oldschool for Synapse. biggrin.gif

I wanted to set it for 450dpi as well but after I install Synapse 1st time. I found out I can set it only 400 or 500 dpi and I played with 400 and it works fine. thumb.gif I used to get freezing cursor with deathadder 3.5g latest drivers. So Synapse was way to go for me.

I don't really mind the max speed limitations, but synapse does an extremely poor job at recalculating DPI on DA.

It feels like positive interpolation, but with a slower cursor. I can also draw specific angles faster then others.... As for cursor fidelity, its pretty messy in paint. (400 DPI 125hz).

It's pretty sad when I can down scale from 3500 DPI via razer "sensitivity" with more precision than 1800 CPI on synapse....

It still amazes me that they ship all the new mice (naga hex, taipan, etc.) with no secondary drivers. It's synapse or the highway. The software seems like it's barely beta.

I'm pleading with you razer, give us some regular drivers for these mice. I've got a naga hex that I just love the shape of, but I can't use it because your software is trash.

How about instead of pleading you stop buying their junk?

Well I already own the naga-hex that I can't use because of their software. So I'm pleading to be able to use what I've bought.... But aside from that, I'm not buying a single razer product until they move away from synapse. I've let them know that as well.

Well you could just return the mouse - I'm sure that would get the message across a lot better than just whining on a forum.

You're just full of great advice... but sadly I bought the mouse some time ago and didn't get to use it until after the return timeframe had passed. Lesson learned. I hardly think anything on here is "whining", just merely stating facts, but thanks for the antagonistic response.

Yes there are some problem with Synapse. 400 dpi isnt exactly 400dpi on wmo or g400. But I have found some magic sensitivity that works flawless on my deathadder 3.5g but not on my kinzuadder 3g for some unknown reason. Overall I am happy with Synapse because mouse only lags for 2 seconds while Synapse is loading on windows boot then I don't have any problem rest of the time.
