OMG, I sent razer a support request last week sometime regarding the lag issue, I received a reply to this issue about 3 days later after addressing it to them. They asked me to complete a re-install of the Synapse 2.0. In my mind I knew it wouldn't make a difference, but i did it anyway just to prove them that it didn't fix the problem. This is what they told me.
Hi there Leroy
Thank you for contacting Razer Support. My name is Andrew and I will be assisting you with your Taipan.
We are sorry for any inconvenience you've experienced with Razer Synapse 2.0. Most problems can be resolved by performing a clean re-installation of the Synapse software. Please follow the steps below:
For Win 8, 7 and Vista.

*Terminate the "RzSynapse.exe" process from the Windows Task Manager.
*Highlight and Copy the following directory "C:\ProgramData\Razer"
*Press the Windows Key + R
*Paste the directory into the field and hit Enter
*Delete the Synapse Folder.
*Uninstall the Synapse program from your machine by navigating to - Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features
*Restart your computer.
and reinstall the latest version of Synapse 2.0. Run the installer and make sure to click OK/Allow buttons on the User Account Control (UAC) prompts.
*Restart your machine and log back into your Synapse account.
Well i followed that about 2 days ago, and guess what, ALL THE LAG IS GONE! I couldn't beleive it, shortly after receiving the message from them the lag seemed to have dissapeared. I don't know if the issued lied within synpase 2.0 or if they upgraded the firmware. I'm glad i sent that report in, looks like they decided to get off their ass and fix the damn thing. My razer taipan is just as snappy as my old copperhead, im very pleased with the outcome!
