Is the XSPC Res/Pump combo not very good?
Looking great, I have an XSPC Dual Bay Acrylic reservoir for my D5 pump and I love it! Not sure what kind of problems you had with it.

Its decent, I had a internal leak inside of the pump housing, causing it to lose pressure and created a lot of air bubbles. With the pump being build inside not only this this cause the heat of the pump to enter to the loop, but also you cant really do anything if the pump goes bad.

I Don't have much experience with the D5 XSPC reservoir, but their customer service is horrible. They're quick to point fingers and to blame the customer even after videos and pictures that shows clear sign of the pump housing leaking. From their first email replied back was more "you didn't bleed it, you need new tubing". Nothing useful or helpful came from them, and choose to no longer support a company that does not support their customers.

Ouch, that sucks. I happen to think the same about NZXT, I love my Switch 810 case, but their support service is horrible as well. doh.gif

the video of the pump housing leaking near the inlet side of the pump. The only type of water that's suppose to be return back into the reservoir is from the return house. In this cause the water was being pushed through the pump housing and back into the reservoir. Losing pressure, causing air bubbles, and air bubbles entering into the system.

I'm going to upgrade and add new rads in a week or two as soon as they arrive, and will try to mod the bays a bit and make it all look a bit cleaner! biggrin.gif

Don't be afraid to post on my thread, I won't bite. tongue.gif

You tell me, I started my first custom built computer on January 2010, and ever since I've been constantly upgrading it, it's nuts.
