Asus GTX 670-DC2T-2GD5 Question

Hi all,
I want to buy the Asus GTX 670-DC2T-2GD5 but i have a question.The VGA is PCIE 3.0 and my motherboard Asus P6T6 WS Revolution has only PCIE 2.0 slots.So the question is.Can i use this card with my mobo or i will have any problems?

Ok thank you very much for the quick response.I want to ask you something else if you know.Is it true that the VGA has a problem and shows a red screen of death?

Depends on what kind of problem the card has. Some problems will result in a red screen, some will cause just a blank black screen, some can cause a BSOD, or your monitor won't pick up a signal all together.

i run my on my x58 pci 2.0 no problem at all. I don't think you get much noticeable improvement over 3.0 but I could be wrong LOL so correct me if I'm wrong

I saw in some threads in internet that the Asus GTX 670-DC2T-2GD5 after 10-15 hours shows a red screen of death because Asus didn't do a good job with o/c or something like that.And i am wondering if this is true.

No, there's a difference between RSOD, an unstable crash and not booting up at all. The Asus GPU Tweak ONLY fixes the RSOD. It will not fix the unstable crashes unless Asus got sneaky and downclocked the GPU with their Tweak software. Save yourself the trouble and stay away from the Top.
