Good External Hard Drive?

Going to put in a Plextor M3 in my new laptop I get at the end of the month, and will use the internal hard drive in an external enclosure.

Will be a 7200rpm laptop hard drive

Need something USB 3.0 compatible and a SATAII/III compatible.

Would rather have something fanless and aluminum, but whatever works I guess. Cheaper the better.

Need the external enclosure

If you go external, I would go with Western Digital. Never had a problem with any of their drives, but I have had terrible luck with Seagate.

If you would like to be able to switch hard drives in and out of an external enclosure, i just picked up 2 of these:

Good External Hard Drive?

Bought the 1st one un-lit to see what I thought of Mech Keyboards after seeing all the nerds rave about them here in OCN. Wow! OK I get it now. You do gain an accuracy because the mind knows when...
