Removing the base of 2720MDP

I got a CROSSOVER 2720MDP GOLD LED today, and I wanted to mount it to one of those vesa compatible swivel arm.

But apparently the base looks like it's stuck to the inside of the lcd and I don't think I can remove it without dismantling the entire back. Anyone has any experience with it?

Does anything unclip? are there any screws on the underside of the base? Have a look. I think you will find that there is some screws underneath the base that might unattach something.
EDIT: just above the top of the base, there seems to be a small circle. Is that covering a screwhole?

The screw hole caught my attention but I had to leave home in a hurry so that was the only shot I took. I think it may be the inlet/residue from the plastic injection mould.

I've never taken apart an lcd before but the entire bezel and back looks like a one piece construction, and it seems like there's only 2 screws holding it from underneath the screen. Maybe I'll have a go at it when I get back tonight. Just wanted to know how other people are dismantling it.

How did this go? I'm thinking of buying a 2720mdp and changing stands.

It's probably really late for this post. But here we go:

I managed to unscrew the 4 screws behind the lcd. The sides of the bezel are latched together by plastic, you'll have pry it out abit.

After removing the bezel it's just a matter of sliding the lcd down a little and you will be able to access the back.

You'll be able to see the two screws holding the base stand together and unscrew them with a regular + screw driver.

I actually broke one screw of the swivel by over adjusting it previously, before dismantling the stand. Pretty weak construction. But all in all it's pretty easy to dismantle it.

Great guide, TFT Central has one too for the DGM rebrand:

I used both for my 2720MDP. Be really care when pulling the panel out! do it slowly and make sure you can see that you aren't reefing on any wires!
