Just curious... at what settings?

I run it maxed (-FSAA and SS) and I use 70-80% of 2 Gigs with higher spikes at times....

ok your right, normally i play games at 1600x1200 at max ! but with this game it will lag

so i play this !

SCREENS: (CLICKABLE)

Display options

Advanced video card options - Effects

Advanced video card options - Graphics

Advanced computer options - Physics

Adcanced computer options - Effects

and my graphics card is OCed cause it sucks at performance, and my rig is not as good as yours... so like i sad you don't need 2 GB to get good graphics and run your game smoothly

OK so you're telling me a 6600gt can play F.E.A.R.almost maxed out? I really doubt this. Run the FPS test and get a screenshot of that.

Blowie,

If those are the settings you are using w/ a 6600GT, then that is amazing. Those are almost mirror the settings I use (sans FSAA and SS) andI run it very smoothly: 70 FPS average...

What do you get for FPS, and how did you tune your system so well?

dunno every card has his different quality's and performances.... (mines is just weird cause it sucks at performance but it just plays every game there is )

and my fps in the game is from 20 till 50 fps (depends what's happening in the game) but it runs smoothly....

How can a card have sucky performance and run games well? In that case I would say it has good performance.

oh well thank you !

i will make some screenshots with fps on it for ya guys... like i told ya my card is real weird. I bought this card cause i wanted an 256 mb card of Nvidia but my budget wasn't that big. So this guy told me he had an cheap 256 mb video card (for 145 euro's 2 years ago, well every Nvida card costs 200 euro's or higher those days).... so while i was gaming i noticed i got some issues with my card... while playing game and running thru smoke/mist/fog the card slows down and you almost play like you have slowmo (with F.E.A.R. that's almost gone ) But every new game that came out i could play on full settings with a resolution of 1600x1200 (HL2, Q4, D3, GTA SA, etc) exept for Oblivion and F.E.A.R.

i think this card got more potential then it says it got

Maybe it's not the word i'm looking for ehhhmm, i mean it does not his job as it's supposed to (got some problems with boot time because of my card, the smoke/mist/fog problem and some little other things)

Yeah.... nice! Blowie, maybe you just got a "diamond in the rough". Whatever it is, enjoy it.

Oh yeah he's dead meat and he knows it !

Hehe, this doesn't count cause there is almost nothing to show because it's real dark here

Now where are they holding ?!

Gotcha !

*** ! i hear a phone ringing and can't seem to find it in the office... and this ****load of blood dripping from the ceilling

ROFL, this guy was bleeding thru the cealling !

And as you can see sometimes my fps drops even till 10 but that's mostly cause i'm in a big space or allot of things are moving
