Best board in the $150-$210 range - Page 3

Good choice on the MSI board.thumb.gif I don't know why so many people on this thread hate MSI. MSI makes a great board and always have. Just like any company can have some bad ones. I have yet to have one. The z77gd-65 is a beast. She can handle ALOT!! I love mine and wouldn't trade it for anything!tongue.gif

The way I look at it, when HardOCP, Tweaktown, Toms hardware, and every review site I went to had nothing but good things to say about it I decided to give it a whirl.

Brand loyalty is a big thing for hardware. One bad experience usually turns someone off of that brand for a long time.

I think it has to do with some MSI boards literally exploding/catching fire

I feel that way about ASUS now, I used to feel that their reliability is worth the extra coin. But when your refurb boards aren't even reliable and you are going to charge me money to fix your board literally 1 day after it arrived at my house I don't want to deal with you.

Newegg has also lost a lot of my faith due to their overly complicated RMA process.

Easy fix...only buy new boards and only buy stuff from newegg you cannot get from amazon lol

I hear ya tho. Good luck
