That guy you spoke with was obviously a nice guy but I would not expect a reply from them... at least not ones with answers to your questions , knowledgable customer support in a timely manner from Galaxy is an EPIC fail at this point!

Yea I don't really expect to gain much beyond what he has said but in general I'm a fan of the decent personal feel I received in his help. We compared scores and such with out cards, he has a GC version. Still checking into the custom bios arena so hopefully that goes somewhere. Still waiting to hear back on that unfortunately. Other than that I really can't complain overall. It really doesn't show up on their site that they guarantee any sort of voltage/power monitoring/adjustment it was just something brought up by review sites. This card is great and do far I think has the highest clocks pulled at the reference voltage which is incredible to be honest.

I did some more testing on my card last night. It boosts to 1280 at stock, and is stable up to 1300 or so. 1306 crashes Heaven usually about a minute or two in unfortunately, but it did actually complete a benchmark once. The difference in FPS between 1280 and 1306 was like 0.3, so I'm just going to leave it at stock. I've only tried +350 on the memory so far. But I gained around 3fps in Heaven (from 50.6 to 53.5 or so) just from the memory overclock alone. Hopefully I can push it further because I don't think I've ever actually seen memory overclocking have such a nice performance boost. Maybe Kepler actually is memory bandwidth starved?

Some other things I would like to discuss :

Size : The PCB size is exactly the same as my reference GTX 480. So this is a large card, and the cooler sticks out an extra inch. You need a spacious case for this card.

Power : The maximum I managed to get power % to go was maybe 72%. At stock it fluctuates from 62-67%. This custom design must be ridiculously power efficient to be using that little power (relative to the 680 max TDP) at such high clocks. But it's a bummer because I want to know what this card can do at 100% power use. It looks like the only way I can get there is to increase voltages beyond 1.175v, which as of right now it seems like we cannot do. I've tried adjusting sliders (to maximum 120% and voltage to maximum) but it does nothing. This was similar to my ASUS Top 670 (which I RMA'd due to crashing at stock) as that card did not respond to the sliders either.

Cooler : The cooler on this thing is huge, but it really gets the job done. However, anything above 50% fan speed is too loud. You'd think the fans are spinning twice as quickly at 60% than they are at 50%. However, 50% is sufficient to keep my card under 70C. It peaked at that and throttled down to 1267.

Video Outputs : Do not get this card if your monitor does not have HDMI or Display Port. Right now I'm using the miniHDMI -> HDMI -> DVI and the connection is so unstable it's not even funny. I thought I had a DP cable laying around but I don't, so I have to use this configuration until I get the cables I just ordered later this week.

The Mod Friendly : This card looks perfect for "The Mod". Dwood's mount + fan bracket is perfect. The fan will blow right down onto the VRMs, and since it already has a heatsink on them, there's no need to put your own on them. If at some point voltage control is unlocked for this card, I will definitely be doing this to my card as I did my GTX 480. But right now there isn't much a point.

Pretty much what I said in my review. Thanks for posting. Share it my thread also if you'd like...

I didn't realize how similar our cards were. We both have 1280 out of box and get ~1300 max stable. It's a bit of a bummer compared to those getting 1320+, but I don't care too much as most Keplers cannot even reach these clocks. You'd think otherwise reading a forum like OCN, but from first hand experience with Kepler cards, if you're getting over 1200+ then that's pretty good. The real potential is in unlocked voltage if we ever get it.

I haven't had any issues with mine (RSOD or drivers crashes outside of an unstable overclock) but I haven't had the time to really have a long gaming session with it. I only use MSI AB now, as I didn't like the OC Tuner program much. Nothing beats being able to get MSI AB onto my Logitech keyboard LCD display.

Yea I feel you. Afterburner and the G19 or other g keyboards is very nice. So far my stable after spending a very short 30 minutes testing is 1338 boost in 3dmark. It doesn't go much higher than that really in BF3 but when I was playing I didn't pay close attention. Card runs great though. I'm a huge fan. Not a hair above 62 in anything I've done with fans at 55% completely inaudible to me. Actually my nzxt 200 at about 6 volts is louder than the cards fans at 55%. I like how it vents nice and strong out the back too. And also so far no issues outside of unstable clocks. Nothing really negative at all to say about this card.

DAMN! You had to of them no? I would've loved to see those scores. Especially at custom BIOS time if it so happens. To each their own though.

Such a long time to wait. Hopefully the BIOS releases sooner than the card. I want to at least try it out. I pray pray pray it will work. Especially when I'm not even getting close to the tdp of a reference card. This card has way too much headroom to be bogged.

Well it seems we are trying both options I decided to wait for the lightning and you for the BIOS ... now in the meantime you have a great card to wait with, but I really want to have voltage control and push to 1400mhz in sli biggrin.gif

It was a slight hard feeling to know I turned those GREAT cards away... but I have lot's to keep me busy and it will be fun hunting on the info for those cards... and I can see what the classifieds look like (i,e, are reasonable voltages up to around 1.3v going to be software adjustable and heck I might even just wait for the lightning extreme 4gb versions LOL

Delayed satisfaction in this case for me will be nice ... though I REALLY do appreciate the simplicity of simply having good cards from the start as you do!!! and July is close so we shall see... I will keep my eyes on this thread for updates with this card as they seem to be available on Newegg again I could always get them again should there be voltages unlocked LOL

and YES I will do some benching on sli lightnings at 1400 plus with my 3930 at 5ghz plus and see what I can get!!! though it will be a little wait for that

Okay found a little more. This guy did 1340, which I did accomplish a run at that. Wish 3Dmark would pick that up for me. But in his pictures you can see he censored the card but I KNOW that this is the SOC just by looking at it. It's obvious this card must be still in the underground but you can also see he was able to go to 1.2 volts, which mine did the same at 1.175. Anyways things are getting closer. I didn't see any dip switches or the OC panel cable so it looks like this was done through software. God I'm hoping I can take this card and go up. I wish I had 3DMark11 advanced so I could at least get on the air cooled records list. http://hwbot.org/submission/2273162_hero_3dmark11___performance_geforce_gtx_680_11943_marks

EDIT: Left him a post on there. After reviewing the page I also noted that this was all the way from April 7th. Can't believe how underground this card is
