So no increase in overclock with the lower temps?? not that I was expecting it LOL

Man I hope you get some voltage control cause at those temps you have LOTS of thermal headroom!

BTW what are your ambient temps?

What are the temps on your VRM?

Can we see some pics???

Sorry I haven't been checking in, not that i have much to talk about. A few days ago though Galaxy did spit out XTP version 1.02 and I didn't get any core voltage increase but I did get memory voltage unlocks. Haven't really had time to mess around much with it though but I can overvolt the memory in theory by 100mv. Pretty nifty. Hopefully AB 2.2.3 comes out and I can have someone mod the Lightning BIOS to have the SOC clocks so I can hopefully use the memory overvoltage in AB. I don't really like XTP so much at the moment and I am not needing to push the memory clocks right now since I'm not benching for competition so AB is fine since it works with my G19 which I'm hoping to get rid of soon and pickup a different keyboard.

Good news. I too prefer AB to TT. Also AB has voltage memory also if I'm not mistaken. I am getting my SOC replacement today (new).

Nice to see some posts here I have still been checking on this thread several times a day LOL

Jona2125 if you do get a chance to tweak memory speeds with voltage I would be curious how that goes!!! as when you get to higher core speeds that memory bandwidth is a bottleneck wink.gif

Bosniac I am looking forward to seeing some posts about your replacement SOC, even as I will be writing posts on my Lightnings today as well smile.gif

cheers to both of you!!!

It does but it seems to be in house to MSI cards branded with triple overvoltage. So I've seen at least. I don't have the option in 2.2.2 that's for sure

And let me know how those lightnings turn out. I might just have to try out a run or two with maybe a 600 increase on the memory. 7200 effective. See what that pulls. I already broke 12K graphics so I'm already really impressed for a rather still stock card in most aspects. I hope to see both your cards scores soon. Cheers.

Best I could pull, had the memory at 7200 but it was getting sketchy so I killed it. +38 and +550 core and memory respectively. Can't say the boost sorry but I'm getting further. Done benching until 2.2.3 and I'm definitely satisfied regardless so only can smile bigger soon.

Just checking, but was that memory OC with a memory voltage adjustment? if so how much voltage and what mem overclock did you get before the adjustment?

I totally forgot what your max core OC was LOL ... I will read back in the posts if I get a chance, but if you have a sec to remind me it would be great!! smile.gif
