Then he's got $600 spare. Where should it go to?

3770k maybe. i mean yes he woudnt use it, but its good future proofing. everything is getting more and more threaded. currently single core speed still trumps all, but that will begin to shift. or just keep the money, by a bigger ssd, better case.... things that will last and have a real differance, not getting 680 when the 670 is almost the same and much cheaper.

I do agree with you guys that the GTX 670 is a better value but I don't know where to put the extra money. The monitor I can't really go bigger on and a larger SSD would just be a waste. Also, Micro Center doesn't sell the 3770K for some reason so I can't upgrade to that.

I forgot to mention that he is against watercooling. I don't really know why but he said I should stick to air cooling so the Rasa is out. That build also looks fairly similar to my original one just a little bit smaller. Just to be clear, he doesn't need a SFF build it just can't be a massive full tower.
