thats pretty good. i had to put 1.6v to my 3500+ to keep it at 2.6 ghz stable. it would boot to 2.7 ghz but it wasn't stable at all.

1.6 volts is getting pretty high for air cooling.....at 1.65 the chips starts to slowly deteriorate. I'd drop it down to 1.55, and get what overclock is possible at that level.

Hmmm you guys with latter steppings seem to overclock a bit lower. Try messing with other memory timings too, although I did mine randomly.

I pushed mine to 330 x 8, I get better scores than I had with 250 x 11. Both were stable, but I went with more FSB. Also, mine is at 1.6vcore, which is the highest you should/can go on air. At 250 x 11 I had it at 1.65, so I dropped it back and raised the FSB. Sitting at 2.64 and quite pleased with performance.

i did all that testing stuff from that site...and i got all my specs, my board however seems to get finicky when i used a divider and im not on an 11x multi. These seem to be my best settings so far, even if my voltage is a bit high. The basic asus board i have doesnt seem to be the best when it comes to a kind of wacky set up overclock

Try lowering the timings as far as you can, and I mean every single one of them and not only the usual combo of 4. I did that and it allowed 250x11=2750Mhz @ 1.53V.
