Need help sleeving 2 to 1 cables.

So I started sleeving with paracord (no heatshrink) recently but ran into a bit of a speed bump. Some of the cables split into 2 pins at the end like so: 450

Anyone know how to sleeve this with heatshrinkless paracord?

Thanks in advance!

Here's some finished work just in case you were curious (I realize its not the best, but I did what i could) smile.gif

Have a look at Ontic's Guide Step 16 onwards. You'll need heatshrink for the spliced bits.

Ontic deserves the rep not me.

I think this might be frowned on by Lutro0 but when it comes to putting heatshrink on the paracord you normally need more than you do on normal sleeving, roughly 20mm instead of about 15mm to make sure it holds it. I use adhesive heatshrink for the holding down bit as you can get away with about 10mm, then cover it with proper heatshrink so it's not visible. Adhesive heatshrink is a bit thicker though (and a bit messy).

Haha! I dont frown upon the extra 5mm as long as its stuck inside the connector like it should be, but the adhesive shrink I do frown upon - but you said exactly why I dont like it....
