Ya, and all that extra content the PC is getting first and inevitable graphical upgrade the game will recieve just being on better hardware just smacks of laziness, how could they even think of adding new bosses, new areas, new items, new enemies, all originally created with the PC version in mind. And the very idea of From Software porting the game to PC after a fan based petition was submitted to them, it's just stupid... /bucketsofsarcasm

Its not asking too much to tell them to actually program their games decently in the first place. Devs and publishers are lazy (i blame konami because demons souls ran much better). The original shouldnt have had issues in the first place

I somewhat agree w/ what you're saying here BUT I think its fair for people to be disappointed... and to expect a level of professionalism from companies they are going to purchase products from. "we know there's framerate issues that could be fixed but meh" doesn't evoke a lot of confidence that the game will be worth the $ they are charging

All their laziness is going to do is promote piracy on their product, especially if an owner already has the game on the PS3/X360. If they actually took the time and effort in optimizing the game, then they probably will get more people buying the game instead of getting it the "other way", but you live and learn, I guess.

Ill get the game in steams bargain bin sales, IF it dont have GFWL, Otherwise i would not get it at all

The extra content for the PC version will also be released for the console versions and is probably mainly aimed at these audiences, anyway.
We're not acting entitled, we have quality standards for what we buy. Would YOU buy a car if it was basically a motorcycle with some additional seats strapped on instead of being a proper car? No, of course not. This is not what we asked for if it turns out to be what it seems like right now.

Well if I only had that car to choose from, and the dealer had told me that the car was going to be a motorcycle with seats strapped onto it because that was the only way the manufactuer can slap this paticular car together which was originally built to accomodate a midget, but the car company valued my opinion so greatly they decided to try to accomodate me anyway (I really liked the way the midget version looked and handled), and they went ahead and welded on a passenger carriage which they added for free, the model I saw that midget drive off with will have to pay for that passenger carriage and it won't be out till the end of the year.
That is a very close approximation to the analogy you used of what this situation is like. And yes, I would still buy that car, because look how much fun that midget is having even with some of the problems the midget version has.Also I was made fully aware, that to accomodate my want to own this rockiin midget mobile, there are some attributes of it having been desinged by midgets, for midgets, that will remain in the normal sized version some which are undesireable.

So many are complaining about the issues this car has because they're trying to use a tool that was desinged for people who are half their size and complain that the car isn't what they were promised when the car doesn't perform like the Ferrari or giant SUV with all the amenities. And are even coming down on them for that extra passenger carriage because it seems midgets will be able to utilize it in their own model at a later date.

Also... if I spend $50 on a video game and it has frame rate issues, I can live with that.
If I spend $15,000 - $30,000 on a vehicle which has to conform to numerous perforamnce and safety standards and doesn't... well that's a bit different.

Last point... A car will kill people if it isn't desinged optimally.
If you can find a video game that killed someone because of a frame rate issue then I'll give this argument to you.

[Edit] The GFWL thing is bull however, but might be a neccessity to accomodate the games netcode and provide infrastructure for multiplayer to run properly.

And everyone wanted them to also spend valuable resources removing GFWL... Told you it wasn't going to happen.
